Project Head (content)

About the role: The project head of content will be responsible for sourcing content for Synapse Society meetings held monthly. The content development requires researching existing articles, videos, podcasts, etc, and DOES NOT require you to develop novel content in neuroscience and psychology. The content needs to be selected while considering the demographic population, beginners in neuroscience. Additional duties include moderating Synapse Society sessions and developing prompts for discussions.

Time requirement: 15 hours/ month

Eligibility: We invite Masters and PhD students from a neuroscience or life sciences background to apply. Undergraduates who have taken up similar roles may apply as well.

Compensation: Nil. This is a voluntary position

Project Head (Video)

Stimulus strives to engage its members by making neuroscience fun and accessible. Stimulus' volunteers have brainstormed ideas to connect neuroscience topics to pop culture. We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented leader in the making to push this science communication project further through their diverse skill sets.
​
About the role: The project head for video will be responsible for allotting video editing tasks for volunteers and assisting them in the process. The role requires communicating with multiple teams (Content, actors, volunteers) therefore, communication and team management skills will be preferred.
​
Time requirement: 5 hours/ week
​
Eligibility: We invite Masters and PhD students with video editing knowledge and a passion for science communication to apply. Undergraduates who have taken up similar roles may apply as well.

Project Head (Manager)

About the role: The project head manager will be responsible for managing communcation and tasks between multiple teams (Content, video, actors, etc). The manager will develop timeline-based tasks along with other project heads and will be responsible for seeing through them. The role requires communicating with multiple teams therefore communication and team management skills are crucial.

Time requirement: 5 hours/ week
